Moss Sidell

Moss Sidell is an accomplished attorney.

Moss Sidell has been practicing law for 30 years concentrating in real estate and complex business litigation. His practical experience in the real estate industry has provided an unparalleled opportunity to be able to advise clients for their legal issues. Moss has been a real estate developer, a part owner in a construction business, a real estate broker, and property manager.

Moss received his Bachelor of Science from the Boston College and later his J.D. Degree from Suffolk University in 1987. He began his career in the real estate industry in 1981 in Boston and over the years either owned or was part of brokerage firms and real estate development firms. He also became involved with construction companies over the years.

Moss Sidell later began his legal career as an in-house counsel for a large public corporation.  Through years of experience and career growth in Boston, Moss was named a Super Lawyer in Boston Magazine in 2004 and 2005. He received this recognition for being in the top 5% of real estate lawyers in Massachusetts.

He has developed a large client list ranging from small business or individuals to large corporations with global reach. His client list includes the largest retailer in the world. Moss Sidell developed his legal career even further by opening his own practice in 1992. He has grown and become licensed to practice law in Massachusetts, Rhode Island, and Florida, where his current offices are located. His firm specializes in providing the same level of services that  you would normally find a at large firm for a high cost.

Over the years, Moss Sidell has developed extensive experience in counseling clients in real estate acquisition, foreclosures, financing, land use and landlord-tenant practices. One of his largest areas of expertise is with helping families resolve mortgage issues.

Moss Sidell is also a member of the bar of the United States District Court of Massachusetts, the United States Circuit Court of Appeals for the First Circuit, and the United States District Court for the Southern District of Florida. He has been active as a regional volunteer officer and other positions in the International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC) for many years. The ICSC, founded in 1957, is the premier trade group for the shopping center industry with over 55,000 members worldwide. The mission for the ICSC is to ensure recognition for the real estate industry and how it plays a role in the social and economic makeup of communities worldwide.

When Moss Sidell is not working he can most likely be found playing golf or taking photos. He became a huge fan of golf at the young age of six and has not lost his passion since. He appreciates the level of mental challenges and concentration required to play the game. Moss has been able to be a marshall for several golf tournaments including the Westchester Classic, the Honda Classic, and the U.S. Open. His love of photography began due to his upbringing. His immediate family is full of artists and creatives, which is what led him to his love of photography. He has used it as a creative outlet for most of his life. He even joined the Boston Camera Club in his early 20s while living in Boston.
